It wasn’t a big moment.

No big event.
No milestone.
No picture-perfect setup.

Just a normal day.

I was tired.
Thinking about work.
Running through everything I needed to get done.

And then something small happened.

My daughter looked up at me—waiting.

Not for anything big.
Not for a gift.
Not for a plan.

Just… for me.

For a second, I almost missed it.

You know that feeling—when your mind is somewhere else, and life is happening right in front of you?

But this time, I caught it.

I slowed down.
Got on her level.
Played along with whatever little world she was in at that moment.

And nothing about it would impress anyone from the outside.

But to her?

It was everything.

That’s the part I think we forget as parents.

It’s not the big things that shape them.

It’s the small moments we almost skip.

The quick “not right now.”
The distracted “just a minute.”
The times we’re there… but not really there.

And I get it—life is busy.

But those little moments?

They’re where the memories live.

That’s what Tiara4Harper is really about.

Not just big events.
Not just special occasions.

But those small, everyday moments where we choose to show up.

Because those are the ones they carry with them.
