It Was Never About the Tiara

When I started Tiara4Harper, I told people I was selling tiaras.

That’s the easy explanation.
It makes sense. It fits in a sentence.

But the truth is…
it was never really about the tiara.

A tiara is just a small thing.
Metal, stones, a little sparkle.

But what it represents?
That’s where it gets powerful.

It’s the moment a little girl looks in the mirror and sees something different in herself.

It’s the confidence she didn’t know she had.
It’s the way she stands a little taller.
It’s the smile that shows up without trying.

And sometimes… it’s even more than that.

It’s a dad slowing down long enough to be present.
It’s a memory that sticks long after the moment is over.
It’s a reminder that she matters, right now—not someday.

Because here’s something I’ve learned:

Kids don’t remember what things cost.
