I don’t have fatherhood all figured out.
Not even close.
Some days I’m patient.
Some days I’m distracted.
Some days I show up exactly how I want to…
And other days, I know I could’ve done better.
That used to bother me more than it does now.
Because I used to think being a good dad meant getting it right all the time.
Now I’m starting to understand something different.
It’s not about being perfect.
It’s about being intentional.
It’s about choosing—over and over again—the kind of dad I want to be.
The one who listens, even when he’s tired.
The one who gets down on the floor and plays, even when there’s a hundred other things to do.
The one who makes his kids feel seen, heard, and important.
Not someday.
Right now.
Because they’re not going to remember every detail of what we did.
But they will remember how we made them feel.
That’s the part that sticks.
That’s the part that shapes them.
And honestly… it’s the part I’m still working on every day.
That’s a big reason Tiara4Harper exists.
Not because I’ve mastered this.
But because I care enough to keep trying.
To keep showing up.
To keep becoming the kind of dad my kids deserve.
